Three people injured in car crash

The accident happened on the Belfast road in Ballynahinch

Three people have been injured in a two car crash in Ballynahinch in County Down.

Two men and a woman were taken to hospital after the accident which occurred on the Belfast Road shortly after 2200 BST on Friday.

The police said their injuries are believed to be serious but not life-threatening.

The Belfast road remains closed and the police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact them.
