Police searching for a teenager missing from his home for a week have recovered his body from Lough Erne.

Sixteen-year-old Daniel Mohan from Enniskillen was due to go to a friend's house in the town last week but never arrived.

Earlier on Friday, his mother, Tracy McMulkin, told the BBC that she "feared the worst" after police began to drag part of the lough.

She also said that she believed Daniel had recently begun taking mephedrone.

His body was recovered from Lough Erne at about 1515 BST on Friday.

Police have said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and that a post-mortem examination is expected to take place.
