Two 'viable' devices are defused in Lurgan

Army technical officers made two devices 'safe'

A security alert in County Armagh has ended after two 'viable' devices were made safe by army technical officers.

They were discovered on Wednesday morning on the Kilwilkee Road in Lurgan and police said they "posed a risk to the public".

They have been taken away for further examination.

A man has been arrested in connection with the alert and is currently being questioned at Antrim serious crime suite.
