Election 2010 Constituency Profile: South Antrim

South Antrim

Cannot play media. Sorry, this media is not available in your territory.

The constituency of South Antrim is overwhelmingly unionist - it once had the strongest vote for the Ulster Unionists of anywhere in Northern Ireland.

The outgoing MP is William McCrea of the DUP.

Almost 64,000 people can vote here.

This was one of the largest constituencies in the UK until 1983.

It is home to our largest airport - Belfast International.

It is also home to the oldest building in Northern Ireland still being used for its original purpose - the blacksmiths in Ballynure.

Our reporter Natasha Sayee has been looking at the issue of pollution in the South Antrim constituency.
