Election 2010 Constituency Profile: North Antrim

North Antrim

Cannot play media. Sorry, this media is not available in your territory.

North Antrim is a largely rural constituency which is overwhelmingly unionist.

The outgoing MP is Ian Paisley of the DUP.

Over 74,000 people can vote here.

The population here is slightly older than the average.

The constituency is home to Rathlin Island, the most northern part of Northern Ireland.

It also has our only World Heritage Site, the Giant's Causeway.

Our reporter Nicola Weir has been looking at tourism in North Antrim.
