Matt Baggott has become the first serving Chief Constable in Northern Ireland to patrol the streets of Crossmaglen.

Officers in south Armagh still face particular problems in community policing.

Last week, the Army defused a bomb in a car abandoned outside the police station in Newtownhamilton.

In January of this year, a number of shots were fired by gunmen at Crossmaglen police station.
