The constituency of East Londonderry has an overwhelmingly unionist electorate.
The outgoing MP is Gregory Campbell of the DUP.
64,066 people are eligible to vote here. One of the quirks of the constituency is that it takes in part of County Antrim.
The constituency is the seat of one of the campuses of the University of Ulster.
