Northern Irish Police condemn car bomb attack

The Real IRA has claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack, which seemed to have been timed to coincide with the transfer of policing and justice powers from Westminster to Stormont.

Superintendent Nigel Grimshaw of the PSNI said "every right-thinking person in Northern Ireland" would support his condemnation of the attacks, which had caused "untold disruption to the local community".
