Irish jockey Ruby Walsh missed the Grand National after sustaining a suspected broken arm at Aintree.

He was due to ride the well-fancied Big Fella Thanks in Liverpool's world famous steeplechase.

Barry Geraghty, originally due to ride Tricky Trickster, switched to Big Fella Thanks and took fourth place.
