M1 motorway re-opens after security alert

The M1 motorway has re-opened between Lurgan and Moira after a suspicious object was declared a hoax.

A security alert on the railway line near Lurgan is over.

The line was closed between Lisburn and Portadown and a bus substitution was in place. Enterprise services are now operating as normal.

On Monday, families had to leave their homes in Rathenraw estate, Antrim in a separate alert. It was later declared a hoax.
