World War exhibition on view at Braid Town Hall

War exhibition

BBC Newsline's North-East reporter, Nicola Weir, reports on the World War exhibition at the Braid Town Hall in Ballymena.

The clock has been turned back in Ballymena - the War Years are back.

A unique exhibition of war memorabilia is on display in the Braid Town Hall.

Incorporating everything from cigarettes, silk stockings, uniforms, hats, guns, bombs, posters, medals, and so much more, the items are just a very small fraction of the collection built up over many years by Ballyclare man, David McCallion.

He has been picking up World War I and II artefacts since he was five and his passion and enthusiasm is not wasted on all those who come to see the exhibition.

Here David gives us a short virtual tour of some of the rarer items on display.
