Pair to face explosives charges after Armagh arrests

Two men in their 20s have been charged with possession of explosives.

One of them has also been charged with possession of items likely to be of use to terrorists.

They were arrested during a police operation against suspected dissident republicans in Armagh on Thursday. Both are to appear in court on Monday.

A further three arrests - two men aged 24 and a 45-year-old woman - were made on Saturday after a number of houses were searched in the Armagh City area.
