Police have said the Stewartstown Road area of west Belfast is now calm following earlier reports of youths throwing petrol bombs. Stones and other missiles had also been used during the incident on Thursday night. A police spokesman said officers would continue to monitor the situation. Earlier, police had asked drivers to avoid the area after receiving reports that petrol bombs were being thrown onto the road.
