Police attacked with petrol bombs in west Belfast

Police

A 14-year-old boy arrested after two petrol bombs were thrown at police vehicles in west Belfast has been released on bail, pending inquiries.

A number of youths congregated on the Springfield Road near Mackie's factory and blocked through traffic on Monday evening.

Translink said one of its buses had been attacked with stones during the disturbances.

Police said they later dispersed the crowd.
