Northern Ireland weather update

Monday evening - Rather cloudy with a few spots of rain for a time, especially towards the north. The rain will fizzle out during the night as it clears away south, and a few clear intervals may develop, but there probably will still be cloud coming and going too. That should prevent temperatures from falling much lower than 3 or 4 Celsius.

Tuesday - The day could well start with a good deal of cloud for some. However, for many the cloud will lift and break to give some bright or sunny spells. It will probably brightening fairly quickly towards the north coast, those brighter skies then spilling gradually south across most parts for the afternoon. A bit of a northerly breeze blowing around the coast, with less of a breeze inland, but a chill in the air nonetheless with highs of 5 or 6 Celsius.
