Four men charged in crime inquiry

Four men arrested by police in the Carrickfergus area on Monday morning have been charged with perverting the course of justice.

Police said they had been arrested as part of an investigation into organised crime in the area.

The men, who are aged 29,33,35 and 38, are due to appear at Laganside Magistrates Court later this morning.

A fifth man has been released pending a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
