Man punched during street robbery

A man was punched a number of times by men who stole cash from him during a street robbery in County Down.

Two men wearing hooded tops attacked the collection agent as he walked along Ballyreagh Way in Newtownards shortly before 2000 GMT on Friday.

The robbers stole money from the victim who had been collecting in the local area.

The police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the robbery to come forward with information.
