Rascal headlines city festival

Dizzee Rascal will headline Belsonic on Thursday

Rapper Dizzee Rascal will be the main attraction when the Belsonic festival gets under way in Belfast on Thursday.

Rascal, who has collaborated with the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Fatboy Slim, headlines the event which runs for three days.

The 2003 Mercury Music Prize winner is joined by Vampire Weekend, Crystal Castles and Two Door Cinema Club.

Belgian duo 2 Many DJs headline on Friday, with Duke Special leading the entertainment on Saturday.

2 Many DJs, the team behind pop pioneers Soulwax, will be joined on Friday by Canadian electro house producer Deadmau5 among others.

Northern Ireland artist Duke Special will curate Saturday's event, entitled Dukebox, with The Magic Numbers, Bell X1 and David Kitt featuring in the line-up.

Belsonic will take place at Custom House Square in the city.
