Stones thrown at city interface

Police patrol

Some stones and golf balls have been thrown in the lower Newtownards Road area of east Belfast, police have said.

Police said while there were reports of petrol bombs being thrown officers had found no evidence of this.

Police in County Armagh are investigating reports that a bus was attacked with a petrol bomb and bricks in Sloan Street, Lurgan.

Motorists in Craigavon were told to avoid Drumbeg Roundabout after reports of youths throwing stones.
