Man injured in metal bar assault

A man has been treated in hospital after being beaten with a metal bar in County Armagh.

The victim, who is in his late teens, was attacked by another man at Mourneview Avenue in Lurgan at about 2320 BST on Friday.

He was taken to hospital with bruising to his legs and head injuries. The injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the attack to contact them.
