A man has died following a crash near Aughnacloy

The man who died after a road accident near Aughnacloy in County Tyrone was 21-year-old Mark McGirr, from Whitebridge Road, Sixmilecross.

Another 21-year-old man was critically injured in the crash on the Caledon Road in the early hours of Sunday.

Three other men are seriously ill in hospital.

It is believed only one vehicle was involved in the crash which was reported at about 0330 BST.

Sixty-two people have now been killed on Northern Ireland's roads this year.
