A patient in a residential home in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust area has tested positive for swine flu.

The trust said the person was recovering well.

All patients in the facility, which has now been temporarily closed to new admissions, have been given anti-virals as a precautionary measure.

Their families have also been informed. A total of 45 people in Northern Ireland have now been confirmed as having contracted the virus.
