Men charged over iron bar attack

Three men have been charged with grievous bodily harm over an assault in Armagh at the weekend.

Two of the men are 20, while the third is 21. They are to appear in court on Tuesday.

A 32-year-old man is still in hospital after the attack, which took place in an alleyway close to Lonsdale Court on Saturday at about 0700 BST.

Police said the man, who suffered leg and head injuries, may have been attacked with an iron bar and a bottle.
