A 23-year-old Lebanese man is being treated at Altnagelvin Hospital in Londonderry after falling more than 100ft from a cliff near Ballycastle.

The man was climbing with three friends when he slipped in a water gulley at Murlough Bay on Friday evening.

The Coastguard said he had a broken ankle and suspected spinal injuries, but was conscious and speaking when he was rescued by helicopter.

He is understood to be in a stable condition in hospital.
