Woman in police vest robs chemist

A woman armed with a handgun and wearing a high-visibility police jacket has robbed a chemists in Comber, County Down.

She forced staff at the Mill Street premises to hand over prescription drugs at about 1700 GMT on Wednesday.

The woman made off in the direction of the Belfast Road in a white car being driven by a second person.

She is described as about 5ft 9ins tall, in her 30s or 40s, of slim build, and had her hair in a pony-tail.

She was wearing red rimmed glasses, black trouser and black boots.

Anyone who has information about the robbery is asked to contact their nearest PSNI station.
