Gardai seize heroin worth 3m euro

Heroin with a street value of more than 3m euro has been seized as part of an ongoing operation against organised criminality in west Dublin.

The seizure was made after two cars were stopped in the Ballyfermot and Clondalkin areas on Friday evening.

Five people, four men and one woman, were subsequently arrested. Their ages range from 17 to late 30s.

Three of the five are being questioned in Clondalkin Garda Station and two in Ballyfermot Garda Station.
