Man on attempted murder charge

A 23-year-old man is to appear in court charged with attempted murder.

The charges relate to the stabbing of an 18-year-old man at Windmill Park in Ballynahinch early on Sunday.

He is to appear at Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Tuesday. Three women, aged 35, 20 and 17, have been charged with withholding information.

The 18-year-old man's injuries have been described as "serious but not life-threatening".
