Pensioner robbed by masked gang

Police car

Five masked men have stolen a man's pension money during an aggravated burglary in County Londonderry.

It happened at Ardreagh Road in Aghadowey at about 1645 GMT on Monday.

Two of the intruders forced the man to stay in the living room while the others ransacked the house looking for cash and prescription drugs.

They left 20 minutes later and took the man's phone to prevent him seeking assistance. Police have appealed for information about the incident.
