Petrol station blaze 'suspicious'

A fire that extensively damaged a petrol station in County Tyrone is being treated as suspicious, the police have said.

The blaze broke out at the station on Morganshill Road, Cookstown, on Sunday evening.

Five appliances were called to the scene to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading to petrol pumps.

No-one was injured. The Morganshill Road is closed, and the police have said it may not reopen for some time.
