police

A woman has suffered burns after a petrol bomb was thrown at her outside her home in County Armagh.

A petrol bomb was thrown at her house at Enniskeen, Craigavon, at about 0200 GMT on Tuesday.

It hit the frame of a kitchen window. When the woman went to investigate, a second petrol bomb was then hurled at her. Her injuries are not serious.

The woman and her family who are from Poland have been living in Northern Ireland for three years.

George Savage, the Ulster Unionist assembly member for the area, condemned the attack.

"Someone knows who did it," he said.

"If they keep at it, they will be caught. All I can say is that those who have any information should contact the police."
