Police are warning Christmas shoppers to be vigilant

Known criminals are to be targeted in a bid to keep crime off the streets of Belfast in the run up to Christmas, police have said.
As part of the Christmas Policing Plan, more officers will be on the beat in the city centre and parts of south and east Belfast.
Last year a similar scheme cut theft by more than 20%.
Officers will be on foot, in cars as well as on bikes, and be using new head cameras and blue-tooth technology.
District Commander Chief Superintendent George Hamilton said the measures were aimed at deterring and detecting criminals exploiting the busy Christmas period.
"The high-profile police presence is about creating a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone during the festive period," he said.
"We would advise retailers to think seriously about their security and check their premises regularly for anything suspicious."
He said people should be vigilant and take sensible precautions such as not leaving gifts in view in a car and be careful at bank machines.
