Crossbow bolt fired at city taxi

A crossbow bolt has been fired at a taxi in north Belfast, the police have said.

The driver of the vehicle escaped injury in the attack, which happened at about 2130 GMT at Carlisle Circus.

The bolt shattered a side rear window of the vehicle and police have appealed for information.

Meanwhile, a German woman remains in a stable condition in hospital after a rock was hurled through the window of a her taxi in west Belfast on Wednesday.
