Man questioned about stab murder

Police investigating the murder of a father-of-one in Larne, County Antrim, at the weekend are continuing to question a man.

Kenneth Nicholl, 28, had been stabbed several times.

His body was found near his home, where he lived with his partner and young son, in an alley between Herbert Avenue and Waterloo Road on Sunday morning.

A police spokeswoman said a 28-year-old man had been arrested and was being questioned at Antrim Police Station.
