House targeted in malicious fire

Police tape

A house on the Upper Malone Road in south Belfast has been extensively damaged in an arson attack.

The fire started at about 1930 GMT on Friday.

No-one was in the house at the time, but the police said neighbours had to be moved for a short time as a precautionary measure.

A motive for the attack has not yet been established.
