Thieves break into ambulance

Ambulance

A number of items have been stolen from an ambulance after it was broken into in County Down in the early hours of Sunday.

The vehicle was parked close to the fire station in Warrenpoint's Meeting Street when the incident happened at about 0430 GMT.

A police spokeswoman said several items were taken from the ambulance.

Police want anyone with any information about the break-in to get in contact with them.
