Man attacked and two cars damaged

Police

Four teenagers have been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and causing affray.

It is understood the charges are in connection with an attack on a 24-year-old man in Eglinton Street in Portrush at 0240 BST on Saturday.

The victim was taken to hospital with facial injuries. Two cars were also damaged during the incident.

The teenagers, aged 15, 17 and two 18-year-olds, are expected to appear at Coleraine Magistrates Court on Monday.

Three of those arrested also face a number of other charges including possession of an offensive weapon and possession with intent.
