Fireworks seized in police search

Thousands of fireworks, cigarettes and a substantial quantity of alcohol have been seized during a planned search in Loughgall, County Armagh.

More than 3,000 illegal garden fireworks and 100 display fireworks were recovered.

Officers also confiscated 30,000 cigarettes and 100 cases of wine, spirits and beer.

A police spokeswoman said HM Revenue and Customs had been notified about the find.
