Twenty-nine people were killed in the Omagh bombing
|
The Alliance Party is to propose a motion for full disclosure of security services' information held about the Omagh bombing in the Assembly.
The motion relates to such information held before and after the atrocity and on both sides of the border.
The attack on 15 August 1998 was the worst single atrocity of the Troubles, and killed 29 people.
Alliance leader David Ford said he hoped to win cross-party support for the motion.
"The issue now is to get the truth out for the people of Omagh," said Mr Ford.
"They know it was dissident republicans that caused the bomb - what they have a right to know is what information the security services held before and immediately after the bombing."
