One of the tenants at Belfast's new Victoria Square shopping centre has gone into administration.

The upmarket men's store, Hardy Amies, which has five shops across the United Kingdom, is blaming poor trading conditions.

A spokesperson said the situation was caused by "fallout from the credit crunch". Five staff work at the store.

The administrators said it would stay open while they considered take-over offers.
