Two men attacked with 'iron bar'

Police

Two men have been attacked at their home in east Belfast.

At about 2000 BST on Wednesday three men arrived at a house in the Parklands complex armed with what was believed to be an iron bar and wooden bat.

The men attacked both occupants who received serious injuries to the head. They were taken to hospital.

Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. The police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 6008000.
