Watch the latest weather forecast for Northern Ireland

Today: Showers will continue to drift in on the westerly winds this morning, with many of the showers concentrated up towards the north coast.

There will be some sunshine on offer too during the day. All the same, it will feel cool, even when the sun is out. The west or north westerly winds will make things feel even cooler, especially along coastal regions. Temperatures will struggle today in single figures, getting no higher than nine Celsius.

Tonight: A noticeable drop in temperatures tonight as they hover just above freezing, at around two or three Celsius. Some showers around too, some of them will be wintry - with the chance of some hail mixed in. There is the risk of widespread grass frost.

If you have pictures of weather across Northern Ireland that you would like to share, please send them to nipics@bbc.co.uk and we will try to publish them on this site and also on our TV weather forecasts.
