Coastguard units and locals are taking part in a search for an elderly Belfast man, missing in the Dingle area of County Kerry.

It is believed Tony Crickard, 80, of Norfolk Parade, was last seen at Brandon Creek near Dingle on Friday.

The Shannon-based coastguard helicopter and the Dingle-based coastguard unit, as well as up to 50 local people, are taking part in the operation.

It is being co-ordinated by Valentia Coastguard.
