Man is facing 11 burglary charges

A 31-year-old man has been charged with 11 counts of burglary and three counts of fraud.

It is believed the charges relate to a number of distraction burglaries against older people in the Malone Road and other areas of south Belfast.

The charges cover the last three years. They are to be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The accused is expected to appear at Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
