Stab victim's condition critical

A man stabbed in the neck and body with a broken bottle in a County Tyrone town remains in a critical but stable condition in hospital.

The incident took place in the Scotch Street area of Dungannon at about 0100 BST on Sunday.

A police spokesperson said the area was expected to remain sealed off for much of the morning.

Two men - one in his 20s, the other in his 30s - have been arrested by officers investigating the stabbing.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
