Masked gang shoots man at house

Police officers

A gang of three masked men has shot a man in the leg in north Belfast.

It is believed the men burst into a house at Jamaica Court at about 2330 BST on Thursday and one of them shot him in the lower leg.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The gang left in the direction of Jamaica Road. A police spokesman said a motive for the shooting had not yet been established.
