Man, 51, dies following M5 crash

Police at the scene of the crash

A 51-year-old man has died following an accident on the city-bound carriageway of the M5 motorway outside Belfast.

Only one car was involved in the crash, which happened at about 2030 BST on Thursday.

Part of the carriageway was closed for a time, but later re-opened.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident to get in contact with them.
