Man on guesthouse killing charge

A teenager has been charged with the murder of guesthouse owner Billy Spence.

The 19-year-old man is due to appear in court in Newtownards, County Down, on Monday.

Mr Spence, who was 68, was found beaten and stabbed at the Tara Guesthouse on the Princetown Road in Bangor last week.

Police said Mr Spence had died on 30 June and his body was discovered by his partner the following day.
