Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run

Police are investigating a possible hit-and-run incident in Belfast in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A man was walking along Shaw's Road in the west of the city, when a silver hatchback car mounted the pavement and hit him.

The driver left the scene. The man was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact the police on 0845 6008000.
