Man charged with attempted murder

A man has been charged with attempted murder and having a gun with intent to endanger life.

The charges relate to the shooting of a 28-year-old man in County Tyrone in the early hours of Sunday.

The 21-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Strabane Magistrates Court on Thursday.

The victim, a Lithuanian man, suffered gunshot wounds to the chest in the shooting at Lineside, Coalisland, at about 0300 BST.
