Thieves have struck during a tour of one of Northern Ireland's stately homes.

It happened at the Florence Court House National Trust property in County Fermanagh on Saturday.

There was a tour of the house - seat of the Earls of Enniskillen - at 1425 BST after which it was realised that a number of items had gone missing.

Police have asked for anyone who was on the tour and noticed any suspicious activity to contact them.

The items taken include a valuable china Cauliflower tureen hallmarked Chelsea china, a miniature painting of Arthur Cole, seven paperweights, a bronze and alloy figure of two greyhounds and a British East Africa Automobile Association badge.

Police said all the items are unique and of great sentimental value to the family.

They have asked members of the public to be aware of anyone offering these or similar items for sale.
